Top Reads 2019
For the first time, I achieved - even surpassed my 2019 reading challenge! Managed to read 60 books over 24 books that I've initially set. Out of these 60 books, my top reads would be: Death on the Nile by Agatha Christie - I really can't put aside this book from the time I started reading it. It's somewhat a crime of passion which leaves you guessing who really was the person behind those senseless crimes. Btw, a movie is set to be released next year! All She Was Worth by Miyuki Abe - Grabbing a hard copy of this book is really difficult nowadays. I managed to read this through an online public library. The intricate plot is really engaging but somewhat I find the ending as a cliffhanger. I wish that there were details to the ending. Last Bus to Woodstock by Colin Dexter - Some say that this was one of Colin Dexter's best work and it really didn't disappoint. I like this better than The Way Through the Woods.
